Well, you knew it was coming. But surprisingly my favourite post from Paris will not be the food one... just wait! But in the mean time enjoy the delicacies displayed on the page.
Our first morning we discovered a market full of produce, meat and other goodies 3 minutes from our apartment. What good fortune! Tuesday we bought all of our produce for the curry we made that night and a tasty falafel wrap for lunch. Friday it was open again and we treated ourselves to some melt-in-your-mouth boeuf bourguignon and a bundle of lilacs.
Feelin’ like the locals in Paris...
I also have to include our indulgent afternoon by Centre Pompiou, where the ladies from Canada (Karen, Val and Diana) gifted us a wonderfully traditional lunch at le Petit Marcel. We all know what I went for; Escargot! This time I got the special silver pincers and the little two spiked fork. Also my mom ordered our new favorite red; a bordeaux.
